You will save money by using the Gorilla tape to cover the raw edges rather than waste the structural bi-di filament tape on edge cover. I repeat, no tape will hold properly if the panels aren't cleaned of dust first. If you're so concerned about the TIME spent doing the job right the first time, you certainly won't enjoy the TIME and EXPENSE of making the job right the second time after your first attempt fails.
