Hello all, I'm in RENO en route to BRC. Hooray. I think we didn't even forget anything.
Today I made this PDF (http://www.appropedia.org/File:2D_instructionsPDF.pdf) to go along with the 2D/Grounded assembly strategy<http://www.appropedia.org/Hexayurt_playa_checklist#2D.2FGrounded_Assembly_Strategy:>, for those who are not doing pre-made hinges at home. Beveling or mitering your panel edges: will give you greater structural stability and insulation. But, unless you're doing a bigger hexayurt (like the tridome), it's unnecessary for stability in my experience--especially considering what a hassle and mess it is. Transport your hexayurts safely and set them up in pleasant, wind free conditions! Hasta la Happy Hour!
