This brings up an interesting issue.  Using an IR thermometer, I measured 
140 degrees on the outside surface in the sun.  Regardless of how much heat 
was being reflected away, there is still a 40-60 degree difference between 
outside and inside.  The fact that the inside temperature is tolerable 
speaks well for the hexayurt design.  However, I have a feeling that 
screening the outside of the hexayurt with Aluminet or other shade cloth 
would make a difference in inside temperature.  I haven't run the 
experiment...
