Thanks, I wasn't sure if Rmax was the same thing, but it looks like that's 
what other folks are using and the Home Depot in Colma had plenty. You can 
figure out on-line how much each store has by clicking the "Pickup In 
store" button after searching for Rmax insulation.  Just for the info of 
other newbies on the list, the 1 inch RMax has a 5.9 R-value, so less 
insulation power than the original hexayurt materials, which had 6.5, but 
not by too much. The 1.5 inch has an R-value over 9 but is $26 vs. $18.30 
for the 1-inch.
