It's my understanding that the tarp would be taped onto the INSIDE of the yurt, therefore be out of the weather. Because of this, I've decided to use 3" painters tape to attach the tarp to the walls. I'll have another tarp that will serve as a ground cover that I'll stake down flat to the playa. Combined, I think I'll do fine.
