Having taken apart a similar door to this one (called the 'anwar door'
in some instructions), I can't figure out why a person would want to
take the extra 3+ panels and complicated build-out for a full size
door when they can add 3 panels to the traditional H12 hexayurt and
have an H15 with a full size door and standing room in the entire
structure. In my junior-engineer's brain, the anwar door poses a
construction complication and is indeed unwieldy in high winds-- the
H15 is rock solid in comparison as all 'loads' on the building are
equal.
I do love the multi-room design and the 'foyer' space the door
provides here (burning man needs a 'mudroom' as much as any house--
call it your 'dustroom'). I would just put the door bump-out 'foyer'
on an H15 for simplicity and stability.
