I'm planning on simply using one of the roof triangles as a spacer to join
the two base halves with a loose hinge on the Playa - despite the fact that
the roof pieces are all taped up. I'm sure I could stand a piece
appropriately.

Alternately, bring a tape measure, and just lay the pieces down and measure
the distance between them before taping.
