I've been kicking some thoughts around about improved swamp coolers, how
about a two stage, one runs on grey water, and is used to cool air that
runs though an intercooler to cool your incoming air for the second cooler,
than blows into your dwelling. For an intercooler, loosely spiral dryer
vent around a shaft (as if you were spiraling two hoses, and then removed
one), and then roll (say, bubble wrap) something around it, the other air
flows the opposite direction, inside the outer wrap, around the dryer vent
hose, then that air can go into your yurt (at 70 degrees and dry), or
through a second swamp cooler, making it even cooler and wet. For the first
swamp cooler, you could use greywater, as you will not be smelling it.

I think I need more words, used better, or a drawing, to really make this
understandable, that is just a very quick explanation. I'm also on the
peninsula, and looking to build a yurt for this year.
