This <http://www.appropedia.org/images/6/66/6x8_H15_Hexayurt_instructional.pdf>H15 guide shows tape-sealed edges only on the perimeter of the walls (2)
However this <http://www.appropedia.org/images/6/66/6x8_H15_Hexayurt_instructional.pdf>similar H15 guide shows tape-sealed edges on every horizontal edge for the walls (4) 1) unless I'm missing something, these guides are basically exactly the same but one has staggered panels and the latter doesn't. So why would the tape sealing be different? 2) which one should we do if we're following the latter guide? I figure just follow the guide, but it requires 2x the tape and thus 2x the work. Which is fine, I just don't get why the guides differ regarding sealing 3) generally speaking, why do we tape seal some edges and not others? I get that it's a waste to, for example, tape seal the edges that will be hinges (like the walls). But what about the roof, the line that separates the isoceles triangle? Thanks for any thoughts. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "hexayurt" group.
