Mmmmh, I'm not sure wheter we speak of the same sound. I don't mean a
kind of flageolet but a crude, scratchy, sharp and very wrong sound that
occurs mostly when you really don't need it.
By the way, I've been in Wales some time ago and tried to find and to
hear a Crwth. All the people I asked didn't knew this instrument or had
to check the internet to be convinced that it is a welsh instrument.
