FWIW, the "Volksgurdy" is the name of the hurdy-gurdy model initially
developed by Michael Hubbert and now being marketed and continually
redeveloped by Olympic Musical Instruments (which is us, Cali and Alden.) 
While the teardrop shape and the number of strings of the hurdy-gurdy sold by
Nathan Sweet make it appear similar to our Volksgurdy, we'd prefer that the
name Volksgurdy not be used for Mr. Sweet's instruments.
