I am trying to figure out how to build the one as described in the Making and Playing of Musical Instruments. There is just that one piece on the crank end (Base) that is fashioned out of a single piece of wood. It is just slightly bigger than pieces of wood I have found but again my selection and sources are limited.
I am sure chris will help me out.
