Has the procedures for flying with your instruments changed
I didnt think
they were letting you purchase seats for instruments anymore
According to
the American Airlines website you can, see below.

If the item is too large to carry-on, we suggest purchasing a ticket for the
adjacent seat, for details call American Airlines Reservations at
1-800-433-7300.
Also I was wondering what do you do if you don't buy a seat for your
instrument and your at the airport your flight leave in 1 hours and they won't
let you take in in the cabin, they insist you have to check it....Has anyone
ever had this problem.. Seth
