Your best bet would be to find yourself a custom boat builder; at least
here in Rhode Island, that is who is doing the most carbon fiber work.

Yes, they make carbon fiber cello's.
If you're handy, you could make a case yourself. CF isn't that hard to
work with. I've been doing a little experimenting at work; we bought
our material from:

There are many other suppliers, DP just happened to have exactly what I
needed in stock and cheap.
West Marine makes really good epoxy.
I wonder how a carbon fiber gurdy would sound?
