I normally use liquid rosin, i think is better because when you put in the
wheel,
the rosin it is distributed uniformly...
Some people told me about liquid rosin on sale in shops, or festivals..., but
you
can make it by yourself, because the rosin in alcohol it dissolves...
the only cuestion is the proportion, and this depends of amounts, the hardness
of
the rosin, etc..
and about the cleaning of the wheel, i always use "sandpaper" before put the
rosin...
