Subject: AW: [HG] Hurdy Gurdy at Newport Tall Ships

Hi Ron and everybody on the list,

thank you for sharing the video. What's the nice tune you are playing. Could
you provide a partition or a link where to find this tune?

Thanks a lot.

Talking on gurdy-spotting in movies: did you know that there is a hg in the
French Classic movie "Fanfan la Tulipe" starring Gérard Phillipe and gina
Lollobrigida? I remember that there is a hg player in the opening (or
closing) sequence.

Also, if you watch carefully, you can see (and hear??) a hg in the
background of a fair scene in Lasse Hallström's "Chocolat" feat. Juliette
Binoche and Johnny Depp.

Finally you can see one in "Ronja Rövardotter", a children's movie inspired
by a book written by the great Scandinavian writer Astrid Lindgren.

Did someone spot more gurdies? Captain Courageous was totally unknown by me,
maybe the movie never was released in Germany. I have to check that.

Your's
Ulrich
