Dear All--
Thursday, August 2, at Huntington's Cinema Arts Theatre(423 Park Ave.,
Huntington), 8:00-9:30, there will be a puppet slam, which consists of three
pup
pet plays by different companies. We will be performing "Dance of Death," our
award-winning version of the medieval classic, with frequent intervals of
hurdy-gurdy music throughout. If you would like to see some of the puppets, go
to

and click on "Dance of Death." We will be performing it as we do at
renaissance festivals, in costume. It would be swell to see some hurdy-gurdy
peers
among the audience. If you want to find out more, call Huntington Arts Council
at (631) 271-8423.
Another show that will be performed is "Song of Sixpence," another
award-winning play which is quirky and amusing, and accompanied by piano. I
don't know
the other show.
Cheers,
Alice
