Aug 1st, that means the http://www.overthewater.org/festival is only a month and a half away. For those who dont know, this is a week long 'camp' dedicated to the hurdy-gurdy. It is a great time, run by great people with great food.. If you live in North America and play, or want to play, 'gurdy you should be coming to this festival. If you dont live in North America and play 'gurdy, you should be coming to this festival. For those who are coming, alot of the music being taught this year has been posted on the website, http://www.overthewater.org/festival/07_classes.shtml hopefully everyone will have a chance to download it and get familiar with most of them. The more familiar everyone is with the music, the less time we will spend on learning the tunes and the more we can focus on 'how to play' the tunes. Hopefully some of the coming soon tunes will be posted soon, cause i am not the fastest tune learner on the planet.
