Thank you, Geoffrey.
Just to remind everyone - while I'm the more commonly seen "face" of
Olympic Musical Instruments, and people tend to think of me as "the
builder", a huge amount of the work on these instruments is done by my
wife Cali. She does most of the stock prep, the wood choice, and the body
construction and making of the parts. She does all of the finishing
(thank goodness!), and many of the other operations. We both work hard on
the business, but almost every instrument we send out has way more
Cali-hours than Alden-hours on it.
So while "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" is my address, it's also hers.

The email that I thought I had was Alden's private email, not the forum email

- and I hope my next posts are "Proper".

I am interested in learning more about liquid rosin. Is this made of rosin
diluted in alcohol?
Thanks,
Jay

nobody? sigh...
maybe more general: can you point me to pictures of hurdy gurdies or
music that was possibly played on hurdy-gurdies in England before 1900?
thanks a lot,
Matthias
does anybody know anything about hurdy-gurdies in England at the time
1790-1800. Which types did exist, which repertoire was played? Is
there any (famous) evidences close to this period?
thank you,
Matthias
