I *really* like their album, but it's not for everyone and it took me
a few listens to decide whether I liked it or not (it grew on me). As
is quite common in contemporary Swedish folk music, there is a heavy
fusion of traditional materials with something of an industrial and
metal sensibility. If you like "pure" HG music this album may not be
for you. They do a number of interesting things to get their sound.
In some cases they do things like run the strings really slack to get
a noisy, low sound, and other things are run through heavy signal
processing to get an amazing variety of sounds out of the instrument.
You can get the album Prototyp off of iTunes (at least in the U.S.)
and I think it's well worth the price.

Have you heard this lovely presentation of the HG in America's

I'd love to hear more from this Swedish duo... Does anyone have
more information on them?
