So a case of loose nuts then?
To be honest, I have had similar "odd" things happen (but not on a HG) that
resolve themselves when moving or adjusting something that obviously wasn't
causing the problem in the first place. Frustrating, isn't it. What we LIKE
to see is something so obvious we can say "ah, there it is" and fix it.
Must have been just enough out of place to cause a wobble then. Or one of
those wretched little goblins that hide in our instruments and decide to
have a play around at the worst possible times and defy all logic (we've all
had those, haven't we?) - they are the same ones that a swift thump to a TV
set fixes  without damage..
Glad it seems to be sorted.
