Mine's a little complicated. It has a strip of wood at one end (inside the cover) which is drilled along it's length which fits into another bit of wood on the HG and there's a pin through it to make a hinge. The other end just fits behind another bit of wood by tension. I prefer things that don't drop off :) It doesn't interfere with rosining, string changing etc. You just flick it up and it stays there.
