Derek--
Though I run a version of abc on my Mac (abctab2ps--it does
tablature also), the Concertina site is a great tool for those who don't.
And a nice resource. Thanks for mentioning it. Like you, I have a music
collecting mania--more music for lute, especially than I can ever hope to
read through, and all from less than a century's (15th) repertoire! It
keeps things interesting, I suppose in self-defense.
A note about the Raimondo Volta: While the lute is not drone
instrument, the (untranscribed) bass line to this is a repeated F c f on
beats 1-3-5. Sounds like a drone to me! Seems to work on HG.
Regards,
Leonard
