And yes, the word "Renaissance" encompasses a great deal. The fellow who
plays Henry VIII at the Maryland Renaissance Festival is famous for having
once negotiated the return of his throne from three Klingons who had
colonized it -- by speaking Klingon to them in a cheesy Basic Faire Accent
(which is an American trying to sound like Peter O'Toole in "Becket").
