I am almost sure that I met the man that made this as a record, when I was
busking at the Hollywood Bowl in 1984 when I mostly played Hungarian music.
He had a fantastic story of how he left Hungary with only a Taragoto and Tekero
and copies of audio tapes that he had secretly made and took out of the
country. We got together to play the next day and what he played for me was
very rustic which he insisted was the "authentic" way to play Tekero.
