That's an excellent list.
With the bewildering array of copyright laws around the world, one would
think that the ordinary run of the mill musician wouldn't bother (or mind)
if a few of their tunes were copied for a festival provided no money was
made on them.
I'm sure many would be happy for the publicity as well.
I am not at all sure if ABC midi tunes are a breach of copyright or even
playing the music would be (not for money, of course). Is it the copying of
the notes and "publishing" them that is against the copyright rather than a
"live" recital?
I'm thinking of all the possible law-breakers who walk around whistling
their favourite tunes.
We never had a raid at my Folk club :-)
As I said, a huge minefield.
