LW> One question: What does Ajvar & Sterz mean??

thanks Simon and Ernst,

while both is true I want to add that I still grew up with Sterz and
in my region the farmers eat it as breakfast often in a soup of milk
or sugared milky coffee, sometimes with roasted lard on top of it
(sounds awful doesn't it, I still love it).
Sterz is usually more coarsly ground than the typical italian polenta.

but enough cooking - for us, in choosing the title, it was important
that both, ajvar and sterz, are very typical for the regions we come
from and as side-dishes give a deeper impression of each culture's
cooking than more famous main dishes. That was about the spirit how
we choosed the songs on this recording.

thanks Leonard, for the compliments.

cheers,
Matthias
