Alternatively, G melody string and one or two drones in C
A low G melody string would sound very nice if you have one.

The first four notes would be
F   F   E flat   C

Maybe another drone a bit higher  at             D

The first 4 notes seem to be                          G   G   F   D

The melody goes down to C so adjust your melody string to C or lower, probably A

Hello,

On YouTube I have been listening to a Russian folk tune played on hurdy gurdy. I would like to learn to play it, but I can't seem to get started. It sounds like it's in a minor key or some sort of mode. Does anyone know what the starting note is or what drones to use? If I can get started on the melody, I think I can figure out the rest.
