I will try to find time to properly update the road map and get a proper todo list together, but just so everyone knows where we are at, "big" features for 2.2 will include:
* Support for generics (Gavin?) * Support for JSR-175 annotations (Emmanuel) * Session event architecture (Steve) * Standard stored procedure persister (Max?) * New HQL parser (Joshua) * CMP engine (Alex) * Temporal/Regional data (Gavin) * Bulk delete (Gavin?) * Improvements to JBoss Cache integration (Ben) * "Dynamic" and named entities (Gavin)
If anyone wants to take on the things with "?", let me know.
That makes 2.2 a very ambitious release (it might get renumbered as Hibernate3, potentially). I guess we are on at least a 6 month timeframe (probably longer) before this stuff will be of release quality. However, I would like to start doing alpha releases in 2-3 months if possible.
