Thank you suria, I remembered whe the days bila nak boycott barang US especially KFC. With the recipe known to all, then the 'KFC Special Weapon' is evapourised like steam of hot air. However, under recent development, KFC in Malaysia in under tremendous pressure since Yum! International, KFC restaurants franchise holder and restaurant operator has bought over share stakes in KFC Holding. With government regulation of 30% stake-should be owned by bumis, a tough battle is ensuing since Yum! International wants to kick out all minorities and have total control of the cash rich business. A few bumi businessmen dared to take up stakes. Under circumstances, the bumi minorities also being pushed to the verge of high debts due to their high ludicrous demands. Now, we have a bumi corporate belonged to state-government-investment arm is daring the tides to embattle the 'halal' issues concerning al of us muslims. They are looking for more than 30% stake for betterment of the industry and the general public. We have to wait until one whole year for the take over to be completed as this is required to secure financing and SC approval. Then we can dine without doubt of the halalness.
