(The practical guide to American justice)

"O you who believe, take not into your intimacy those outside your ranks; they will not fail to corrupt you. They only desire for you to suffer; rank hatred has already appeared from their mouths, what their hearts conceal is far worse." [T.T.Q. Surah Al-i-'Imran 3:118]

It's getting so bad now that some amongst the intellectuals and members of the Western press, don't know when to cry foul on the issues of the abuse of human rights anymore. These confused Western 'intellectuals' and journalists, have resorted to pointing to bottles of shampoo in the defense of America's abuses of human rights and violation of the West's own 'international law'. An Independent newspaper journalist last week was heard on BBC radio 4 to say that the reason the pictures show the Muslim chained, gagged and on his knees with his head bowed was because 'he was tired after a long flight'. One does not know, at which to be more appalled - the sheer vile and shallowness of these people or the absolute lack of morals and the absence of even a basic sense of right and wrong! Not to mention the lack of shame. The media does it's best as usual to detract from the real criminals.

The issues are, firstly has America violated international law initially in the invasion, aggression and mass murder of the people of Afghanistan and in the subsequent mass kidnapping of civilians? America insists that they are not prisoners of war. And secondly is America guilty of violating the 'human rights' of these people? Shampoo, a forced shave, two towels and protein supplements not withstanding.

These are the facts - with regard to International law, it is not for any politician (even if he is Bush the son of Bush) to determine the status of these captured people, it is for a tribunal, impartial to both America and Afghanistan to establish whether they are civilians or prisoners of war. Secondly, if they are NOT prisoners of war as America insists, then they are civilians - in which case America has no right to remove them from Afghanistan and they need to be tried in a civilian court. Not dragged half way around the earth, without charges, beyond the reach of legal representation and safeguards, beyond the rule of law and all for allegedly opposing, (as we still don't know the circumstances behind their detention and subsequent kidnapping) American aggression against Muslims. EvenRadovan Karadzic the butcher of Bosnia, if he is ever caught, will have a better chance at Western 'justice'.

For the confused, uncivilised (non-Western) peoples of the world, the rules of the Western theory of Moral relativity are very simple. It IS an abuse of international law and human rights, when a non-Western country is involved, for example Mugabe and his treatment of white farmers in Zimbabwe. It is NOT an abuse of international law and human rights however - when AMERICA or Britain or basically any Western country does the same or worse, for example when they obliterate a nation and massacre it's people, even if they are not able to prove anything in a just court. America and the West are full of excellent civilised and moral qualities that necessitate their going to war every other year or so.

* Remember the first Gulf war, when Saddam had annexed the land that was formerly part of Iraq? The West had 'proof' that the Iraqi soldiers were throwing babies out of incubators.

* Remember the second Gulf war - there was 'incontrovertible proof' that Saddam Hussein had chemical weapons buried in the sand - Robin Cook the then British foreign minister proclaimed that a cup of the stuff could obliterate whole cities the size of London!

* Remember Monica's missiles? Clinton had 'incontrovertible proof' that Sudan was manufacturing chemical weapons!

* Witness now the 'incontrovertible evidence' that Al Qaida were behind the complex September 11th attacks that caught the Pentagon with their pants down.

And yet, evidence of such sophistication was sorely lacking on the part of the Taliban and Al Qaida when they fought to defend Afghanistan. Thousands have been killed, millions have been displaced - all done, without a single pronouncement of a just court.

Moral Relativism exposed
Allah subhana wa ta'ala admonishes in the Holy Qur'an
"O you who believe! If you obey those who disbelieve they will make you turnback on your heels, and you turn back as losers." [T.T.Q. Surah Al-i-'Imran:149]

Huntington rather honestly points out in his book 'The Clash of Civilizations..' when discussing the history of the rise of Western civilization that,
"The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas, or values or religion (to which few members of other civilizations were converted) but rather by it's superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do."
We see it time and time again in their onslaught against the Islamic Ummah. And now at the beginning of their 21st century, we see it manifest once more in their caging and subjugation and humiliation of the Mujahideen incarcerated in Camp X-ray, Guantanamo Bay. There is only one incontrovertible proof, and it is that America and the West have no true morals. There is no civilisation to be found here. Only greed.

And yet what is still more insidious is that Americans outwardly call for 'freedom' and 'liberty' ad nauseum, and yet, of all the nations on this earth, America is probably the one nation (surpassing Britain's colonial record) most guilty of meddling in the freedoms and the lives of the people of other nations - all in the pursuit of their 'way of life'. Aggressively manipulating democracies and the rule of law in so many sovereign nations from South America to the Middle East even to the Far East nation of Indonesia. All this in the name of their 'way of life and values'. William Blum in his book 'Killing Hope' lists 55 separate incidents in which America's military and CIA have intervened in over 50 countries and regions in the period between World War II to the mid 1990's. Where is the freedom or the right to self-determination in this? One marvels at such adept hypocrisy.

Allah subhana wa ta'ala mentions in the Holy Quran, the translation of the tafseer reads,
"And when it is said unto them make not mischief on earth, they say we are only peace makers. Indeed they are the mischief makers But they perceive not." [T.T.Q. Surah Al-Baqara 2:11-12]

When we see our mothers and daughters being raped, our children dying inexcruciating pain, all because America must have her oil, or Britain must have her weapons contracts, should we allow this? Are we not to fight for our honour and dare we say it, 'freedom'? We, the rest of the world, especially the Islamic Ummah are paying for the West's way of life with our wealth, resources, and the blood of our people. The Islamic Ummah seeks liberation from the true terrorist of the world - these neo-colonialist capitalist states.

Samuel P. Huntington, has let the cat out of the bag when he wrote,
"Non-Westerners also do not hesitate to point out the gaps between Western principle and Western action. Hypocrisy, double standards, and "but nots" are the price of universalist pretensions. Democracy is promoted but not if it brings Islamic fundamentalists to power in Algeria; nonproliferation is preached for Iran and Iraq but not for Israel; free trade is the elixir of economic growth but not for agriculture; human rights are an issue with China but not with Saudi Arabia; aggression against oil-owning Kuwaitis is massively repulsed but not against the non-oil-owning Bosnians."
(Today, one could substitute 'Saudi Arabia' with 'Chechnia', 'Palestine', 'Uzbekistan' etc.)

If this is the manifestation of Western civilisation, they are welcome to delude themselves with it. The Islamic Ummah has witnessed and tasted the fruits of the morals and civilisation of the West - it is bitter, rotten and unless we see it for what it is, it will destroy us. Abu Musa al-Ashari narrated that 'Umar said,
"Do not take the People of the Book as advisors nor approach them in your affairs because Allah subhana wa ta'ala cursed them and humiliated them because of the hatred and rage they have against your Deen"

We do not seek the protection from the enemies of Islam - America or Britain. Nor do we expect any justice from these terrorist nations. 'Umar radiallahu anhu also once said that
"Any Muslim who doesn't care about what the enemies of Islam prepared against him, nor does distinguish between what is Jahiliyyah and what is not, he is not a Muslim."

The laws of Islam do not bend to greed or material expediency. We do not follow the convulsive twist and turns of ignorance. Our akhlaq is established on the Deen of Islam and seeking the pleasure of Allah (subhana wa ta'ala). It will not be the morals and civilisations of the West that will safeguard and protect the Islamic Ummah, it will only ever be the Deen of Islam.

"In Allah (alone) let Believers put their trust" [T.T.Q. Surah Al-i-'Imran 3:160]
