Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh   I am not a member of JIM but a member of dawah movement based in Europe.   As for JIM, they are one of the leading dawah organisations in Malaysia, similar to PKS in Indonesia.   As for a membership card, its irrelevant. What you need to ensure is that make sure you get involved in dawah activities via various jim-related platforms. In addition to that, be active and consistent in halaqah that being organised on various localities.   Being a member in itself does not mean anything. Be an active and pro-active member then it is something.   Perhaps you will get more information from your naqib.
