Two active and well-known Scholars who had scholarly worked on the issue of Muslim contribution and how it was "adapted" by the west without mentioning the original contributors:
1- Prof. Abdel Hamid Sabra (Harvard University) http://www.people.fas.harvard.edu/~sabra/ He is the one who edited the great work by Ibn Al Haitham "Al Manazir" and proved the "adoption" of Newton to Ibn Al Haitham light theory. 2- Prof. George Saliba (Columbia University) http://www.columbia.edu/~gas1/saliba.html He proved the "plagiarism" of Copernicus to the work of Muslim astronomer Ibn El Shatir: http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-3898462860033908367#docid=-4878285582560481884 Another stolen idea from the Muslim Scholars is "Gravity Theory" which was very well know and Al Bairuni wrote about it long before Newton: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_gravitational_theory (BTW, the apple story of Newton is a complete MYTH) Useful link on Ibn Sina issue: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avicenna
