I'll ask Bartosz wether he knows more about this (I simply am not
familiar with it, and Bart is out)

Anybody? I see at http://repository.hippocms.org/hippo-cms/v6.x/ there
is never a tar.gz for the cms. Do we have a reason for this?

You still have this problem? Was this not perhaps because the repository
was not running?
