It occurred to me that perhaps my description wasn't precise. Navigating the documents tree on the left is very quick. That is, I can click on the "+" sign and I see the subfolder instantly. The problem is when I click on the folder's or document's name. This results in fetching all the available actions and properties for this folder/document and this takes a long time (over a second).
