Hi Warrel,
it seems to me that, since you mention the cocoon:dist goal is not
available, it appears you are trying to build the CMS from source and
the build fails.
It's always very usefull for us to get the maven build error message,
but I think I can help you out here. I guess it complains that the goal
is not found. This could only happen if the maven 'hippo cocoon' plugin
is not installed.
Did you run through the steps at [1], which are also part of [2]?

I hope this helps.

Jeroen

Dear Hipsters,
I'm trying to build 10212 from scratch according to the site instructions.
It appears there is no goal cocoon:dist in the maven.xml for the editor. I
hope I haven't missed something here as I have been quite meticulous in
doing everything mentioned on the excellent documentation.
Up until now I have been using the binary install (with excellent results,
even bolting on Community apps with your excellent help) but I thought I
would do the right thing.
I'm still a bit mystified about the various goals in the maven.xml. I assume
these vary depending on whether one wants to add HIPPO CMS to an existing
Cocoon distro or create the binary with Cocoon embedded.
I'm trying to build a complete version with Cocoon embedded in it.
Thanks
Warrell
