Hi Laurent, good too hear you got past this problem. The CMS should send you past the logincontinue if you are authenticated by the repository. Maybe try a refresh when getting the login screen.
Maybe some extra information is required: Which version of Java are you using? Are there messages in the cocoon/WEB-INF/logs folder that could point you in the right direction? The messages from the fortress log are not applicable for the problem you're having. The fortress log files and messages are generated at a higher level of the startup process. Using "The Unarchiver" does unzip the application better. The cms now starts up and on "http://localhost:50000/" the login page is shown. After providing the credentials "root" and "password" I am redirected to "http://localhost:50000/logincontinue". However on that page there is only the message from cocoon: "Sorry, Cocoon couldn't find the resource you requested." Looking in the logs directory i see the "error.2008_06_04.log" is empty. The "2008_06_04.request.log" contains the message: ""POST /logincontinue HTTP/1.1" 404 848" The "fortress.2008_06_04.log" contains warning messages: 2008-06-04 16:07:43.839 WARN fortress.system.roles.defaults Unable to load class org.apache.avalon.excalibur.datasource.JdbcDataSource. Does someone have a clue as to why the login does not work / have some suggestion for solving the problem?
