Status: Patch Available (was: Open)
Many people might contribute hive components/services. The goal here is to
include a bin/ext directory where each component/service creates a subroutine
that matched the command line name bin/hive cli invokes the cli() subroutine.
This resolves the issue where two services will have to patch the same hive/bin.
