Jobless man sodomises teenager after robbing himSEREMBAN: A 25-year-old unemployed man was arrested for allegedly sodomising a 17-year-old factory worker after robbing him of RM30.State CID chief Asst Comm Kamarulzaman Itam said the suspect was arrested with two other accomplices, aged 19 and 20, who confessed to committing nine robberies since July. "With the arrest, we believe we have solved at least three robbery cases," he said yesterday. Police arrested the three suspects at their house in Rasah on Wednesday night following a tip-off, he said. ACP Kamarulzaman said the trio robbed the factory worker while he was making a telephone call from a public booth at Taman Seri Mawar in Senawang on Oct 12 at about 10pm. "The 25-year-old suspect then sodomised the victim," he said. Police are looking for another robbery suspect. On the case of five footballers and two students who allegedly raped a 19-year-old sales promoter last month, ACP Kamarulzaman said the investigation papers had been submitted to the Deputy Public Prosecutor. The seven allegedly raped the girl at a house in Taman Tasik Jaya. The girl claimed that three youths had pulled her into their car, took her to the house and locked her in a room before the seven took turns to rape her. |
