very interesting this article. i hope i am not reading it incorrectly, as i
tend to disagree with the writer. The writer said that:

>apabila dunia sudah hampir kiamat dan sementara itu pula nabi tidak akan
>diutus lagi kerana rasulullah saw adalah penutup nabi-nabi. kedua-dua
>fahaman ini salah sebab tidak ada nas dalam alq2uran bahawa nabi isa
>diangkat ke langit masih hidup di sisi Allah swt. ini adalah fahaman umat
>kristian. oleh itu uamt islam sejak sekian lama mendokong kepercayaan
>ajaran
>kristian. dalam alquran juga tidak ada nasnya bahawa nabi tidak diutus
>lagi.
The writer claims bahawa tak ada nas dalam alquran that says nabi isa was
lifted up to the heavens alive. I beg to disagree. Surah Maryam, ayat 33-34
says that...."And Salam (peace) be upon me the day I was born, and the day I
die, and the day I shall be raised alive!" Such is Jesus, son of Mary. (it
is) a statement of truth, about which they doubt (or dispute).
Also...the writer said that dalam alquran takdak nas which says nabi tak
diutuskan lagi. Again. I disagree, because dalam surah Al-Ahzab, ayat 40
says......Muhammad saw is not the father of any man among you, but he is the
Messenger of Allah, and the Last (end) of the Prophets, And Allah is Ever
All-Aware of everything.

In checking the above ayats above....Allah swt did not say nabi isa telah
wafat but Allah "took nabi Isa up"(5:117) and "O Jesus! I will take you and
raise you to Myself...."(3:55)

>rasulullah bukanlah penutup nabi-nabi.
Again....the Quran says clearly in (33:40) that Nabi Muhammad is the "Last
(end) of the Prophets."
in Sahih Al-Bukhari, vol.4, hadith #735....nabi Muhammad claims that he is
the last of the Prophets.
Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Apostle said, "My similitude in comparison with the other
prophets before me, is that of a man who has built a house nicely and
beautifully, except for a place of one brick in a corner. The people go
about it and wonder at its beauty, but say: 'Would that this brick be put in
its place!' So I am that brick, and I am the last of the Prophets."
