Hi!

Thanks for your reply. Actually my reply was about another
post regarding SQLite, personally I use MySQL. But my problem
is specific to knoda. I have been using it are now two years.
The problem is with SuSE 10.2, the version installed by
default is 0.8.2-test2. The forms I have in the databse
(central) open up fine and work well but if I change anything
the form disappear. So I have to do everything back from
scratch if I want any change. In this case, with a new form,
everything is fine. It is like if or something has been
changed in MySQL or something has been changed in knoda, any
hint ? I can redo it but I would like to avoid all the work
involved.

I got the same poblem with opensuse build. So I grabbed their src.rpm as a base for build, downloaded latest knoda & hk_classes sources and rebuilt new rpms. This solved the problem.
The solution seems odd to me. Since Knoda save its forms (tables and queryies) in specific files in a repertory in your home, I can't understand why it could delete them after a change, or is it that it is unable to save them? but in this case the old file should always be there? or the old file is deleted and then the saving is not made... Anyway you should have some clues by inspecting these files...(they are XML files, and can be opened with a text editor)

Maybe some new builds should be made by opensuse people.
