I know, but I have been saving always forms "central", this create a
table in mysql itself. But your is a good suggestion, if I save locally
and the problem is with mysql itself I could get rid of the problem.

... just did it and the behaviour is even more strange:
- all my dbase data are stored central.. forms, queries, reports
- I have changed to local saving and central loading.
- saved two forms locally - xml file under .hk... everything seems there
- One form load and I can edit it, the other dosen't ...

If I load from central both load and run ???

I have done it twice ... the file xml looks fine to me ... all the info
seems to be there ????

conclusion

- no problem with mysql, locally is not involved ...
- some strange problem depending on the forms ??

I go to bed now ... continuing later next week.

Tx for your help
