why you try not to install knoda 8.3? is a bug fix release (so is wrinting in the news) perhaps is a bug solved: i never met this matter; me too i used knoda from four years further i works on linux debian (i came before suse 8.2 and after the accomodation suse-microsoft i migrate to other distro choosing debian discovering its works better and faster) for camilo alter table and outer join is not a knoda problem it depends from sqlite that don't include this two functions; you can see this on the sqlite site (www.sqlite.org) in the documentation and in the syntax sections. At the beginnings (me too i use sqlite) also for me it was a problem because i came from access were this problem does not exist. But now this problem for me not exixst: is a different way to construct your applications. Sometimes if i need to modify my tables i create a copy of them, i delete all records and i modify them; therefore i copy datas using sql instructions with query designer using QBE (this way is easier and faster the python scripts; the sqlite site sintax show to manipulate sql instructions). Another way is to export table on an another db created with knoda in Mysql modify the table and there reimport table in sqlite. best regards (sorry for my bad english!)
