Upgraded from 9.10 to 10.04 and knoda works always......but I checked
that i have always python-hk-classes 0.8.3.7build1 installed......with
no "last version" proposed by Ubuntu.....

In fact, I run knoda on a simple update of a simple ubuntu (gnome
desktop)from karmic version (9.10) to lucid (10.4) ; and when I look
into synaptic (packages manager) I see version 4.4 for kdelibs (in fact
it's noted 4:4.4.2) and strangely 5:55 for kdebase....so I don't know
anything but that packages are provided by ubuntu lucid in standard.

I also run Kmymoney and they are moving over to KDE 4 so eventually I
may need to run both versions of KDE.
