Here's another engine bug for ya. It seems that when a level changes, most, if not all of the old file descriptors get left open, while new ones are being created to files that are already open. (Typically, the FD's are to wad files.) Eventually, the task uses up all of the allowed FD's and the engine crashes. This problem occurs on Linux servers. It probably occurs on winbloze as well, but I have no idea how to check that.
