I actually looked more into it... and i pulled this off the abit website:

Q. How can i enable/disable ACPI function via BIOS?There isn't any option
about this in "Power Management Setup" submenu? A. Our latest BIOSes enable
ACPI function and hide the option in BIOS setting . This is a prerequisite
for any mainboard submitted for Microsoft WHQL approval.

So it seems as though there is no easy way to disable it.  I emailed them
and asked if it was wise to disable it or not.  Even my video card website
said that its best for it to have its own irq (just like my sound card) but
its sharing it with 5 other things.

Anyone who can shed light on this please do.
