Hi, Cheers for all the responses. I'm gonna take a peek at your source later on to check if I am doing the same. I now have managed to map the documented packet to the data returned. It turns out the some 0 null bytes mean 0 to a yes/no field by the looks of it, so it all checks out.
I am now having trouble converting a hex string (such as AF79E00) into it's corresponding long value (184,000,000). Any ideas? Simon PS: botman: just looked at your source code. You are only doing the info command, not the newer detail command that retrieves password and mod information, but thanks anyhow. :) -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]]On Behalf Of botman Sent: 23 February 2002 13:59 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [hlcoders] Server Protocol for Half-Life > Does anyone have a C++ example of retrieving the server information ? There's 2 C programs included in my NetProbe source code that allows you to download the list of servers from WON and retrieve specific details from a single server... http://planethalflife.com/botman/netprobe.shtml Jeffrey "botman" Broome _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders _______________________________________________ To unsubscribe, edit your list preferences, or view the list archives, please visit: http://list.valvesoftware.com/mailman/listinfo/hlcoders
