Plus, you can be reasonably sure that this list is read by the game coders directly. Sometimes, you're never quite sure who's reading support sites and troubleshooting pages.

Sometimes you don't know whether a bug is caused by something in the engine/game menu or something that you have done in your MOD. You probably shouldn't post things like "Half-Life doesn't work with my video card", but posting a question about bugs in the game could very well be a coding issue. (In this case it isn't, but you shouldn't have a general rule that says "Don't post any bug related issues here!").
