The time has now come to start the design phases of TiTan. For those that
don't know what TiTan is, I'm going to explain it here:

About TiTan
Even before starting UA back up, I had invisioned an admin plugin to HLDS
(similar to Metamod) that enabled a more polished method of creating addons.
It would have more generalized addons that could work together in order to
provide the correct feature set.

So far, we arrive at a solution that is similar to AdminMod. Now, this is
where TiTan takes on it's own unique form. With TiTan, there will be a core
engine that is adapted to a specific game and translates the game engine API
(application programming interface) with a common TiTan API.

This will allow for different TiTan cores for the various gaming engines. By
changing only the core and having a common generalized TiTan API, all TiTan
plugins have the potential of working on multiple games.

For example, once a MOTD plugin exists for TiTan, it can be used for all
gaming engines that is supported by TiTan. So, if we had a MoHAA server and
a counter-strike server, we could install the proper TiTan core on each and
then install the same MOTD plugin.

Another benefit to this, is that multiple gaming servers could easily be
configured since they share the same type of configuration system. You
wouldn't need to learn how to configure different tools for different games.
This also provides an immediate group of addons to a game engine that
otherwise didn't have.

What's Next
We're going to be spending the next couple of weeks designing this new
system and once completed, we'll start forming teams to handle the coding,
documentation, support, and testing.

So, if you're interested in becoming a part of this new project, please
participate in the planning discussions. Thank you!
