The 2002 Valve MOD Expo (http://www.modexpo.com/) was held at the Summer CPL event in Dallas in July of 2002.
I know you Valve guys are probably up to your necks in headcrabs right now trying to finish up Half-Life2, but I was wondering if there was any chance in hell that there might be a MOD Expo 2003 at this year's summer CPL event... http://www.thecpl.com/index.html?p=schedule It would be a REALLY good time to give a brief "heads-up" to MOD developers about what might be available in the HL2 SDK. Nudge-Nudge, Wink-Wink, Know what I mean? :) I know this e-mail will probably cause another "Oh my GOD! The Half-Life2 SDK is going to ROCK/SuX/Screw MOD authors/Cause me to soil my trousers/Help get me a super cool job in game programming/etc." thread, but I figured, "What the hell." So how about it Valve, are there any plans for a MOD Expo in 2003 (or are you guys just too busy working on Half-Life2)?
